Frequently Asked Questions

Comprehensive answers about our decentralized architecture, operational timeline, and joining the mission.

❓ How does the BBSS model differ from traditional shelters?

Traditional models often act as temporary holding centers without addressing long-term self-sufficiency. BBSS breaks this cycle by deploying an open-source, asset-backed "dome-in-dome" community design that integrates highly efficient living spaces directly with sustainable agricultural infrastructure (like microgreens and sprout production). Furthermore, we utilize a decentralized structural framework where program graduates transition directly into leadership roles to establish future communities.

❓ What is the operational timeline?

Our roadmap moves cleanly from digital architecture to physical deployment. Following our extensive network code rebuild in June 2026, we are establishing the initial platform launch. Our immediate physical goal centers on deploying an initial 10-acre Proof of Concept (POC) site in West Texas to demonstrate our microgreen agricultural modules and high-density monolithic dome configurations before executing global replication playbooks.

❓ How will this base knowledge evolve over time?

This FAQ matrix is dynamic. It will expand and adapt continuously as community members, partners, and subscribers ask questions through our outreach portals. We prioritize transparent community interaction, meaning every mechanical, architectural, and systemic inquiry will be documented here to refine our open-source blueprints.

How can I volunteer or contribute?

Building a decentralized shelter network requires a diverse coalition of supporters. Whether you have financial resources, technical skills, or a platform, there is a clear place for you in this mission.

A Note on Real-World Self-Sufficiency: Although BBSS hopes to put sheltered people to work utilizing skills they already have, to help build BBSS communities, with additional skills training and a fair living wage, we hope to never need external technical skilled staff. But let's look through the eyes of reality—this is why we welcome all who want to participate. This is not for me, or you; it is for them.

"What causes fights and quarrels among you? Don’t they come from your desires that battle within you? You desire but do not have, so you kill. You covet but you cannot get what you want, so you quarrel and fight. You do not have because you do not ask God. When you ask, you do not receive, because you ask with wrong motives, that you may spend what you get on your pleasures."
